Our Cabbiavoli Chianti farmhouse can trace its history back to 1210, when it was a castle built along the important Via Francigena that connected France to Rome through Tuscany.
Today, the castle's various buildings have been transformed into holiday farmhouse accommodation in Tuscany. The barns, for example, have been completely restored to become separate farmhouses, each one divided into apartments rich in historical charm as well as providing modern comforts such as satellite TV and a dishwasher.
The Chianti farmhouse apartments are nine, each with its own independent entrance and heating systems. The apartments have been elegantly furnished in order to retain all the "old world" charm of their Tuscan tradition while keeping them comfortable to make you feel at home. The apartments have a beautiful vista over the Tuscan countryside, facing onto the Chianti hills covered with vineyards, olive trees and sunflowers.
